Hiatus...

Seeing as how two thirds of this spectacular group are training to be firefighters and pursuing a job in New York respectively, we are going to have to cancel our world tour this summer, and reschedule. Alas, I know. Ticket costs will be refunded in full, but t-shirt sales are still final.

The Show Must Go On!

First of all, it should be pointed out that "vestitement" sort of rhymes with excitement.

Anywhoo, with the delay of the opening of a certain music establishment, I'm wondering if the Sima & the Vestites show will go on as planned. I guess we will have to keep you, our screaming usually obscenely drunk fans updated.

Thirdly, UAGD should be served everywhere. As should Old Milwaukee, the boyfriend beer.

Sima is Speechless!

Well, I spoke with Sima today...or more like, I spoke TO her, because she is saving her voice for the super-exciting show the band is preparing for. Expect naked fruit, aromatic harmonies, soiled emotions...the usual Vestitement.

La vita e' bella

A great singer once told me that when someone speaks to you in Italian, it's like they are taking your clothes off with their words. That singer is Sima. I foresee some Italian in this band's future. Oh yes, there will be Italian.

A rudimentary t-shirt design

Well, since no band is complete without the most important part/function of a band (the merchandise), here is a proposed first draft of what will surely become an instant classic and collector's item among those who are "in the know". I think it's simple, classic, elegant, and has a touch of fun. Or it looks like it was drawn by a 4 year old on crack. Either way, what fun!

We're here Edmonton, and we're not leaving until you love us!

So, there's this great new band in E-town. Who is it, you query? Good question, we respond. They are called Sima & the Vestites, and they sing kick ass, crazy tunes. They rehearse like mad, and when the time comes, there will be shows, oh yes, there will be shows. Stay tuned.
